I am planning to install a direct to stud kit in my bathroom. I will not remove the wall plates; but go over the top of the other tiles. I need to remove the outer row of tiles so that the kit will be flush against the wall. I do not know if it a stud farm, where I do not have behind them on the wall screw, probably. Can I simply use glue to attach them to the wall or do I need to screw it in? If yes, what is the best kind of glue?
If you can not put the tub surround as instructed, then how are you going to cover up the edges so it does not looks like this has been incorrectly placed?
